Wayne, Pa. (November 19, 2019) —Colorite, a Tekni-Plex business, has been awarded an Investors in People “silver” accreditation for all three of its manufacturing facilities, demonstrating its commitment to realizing the potential of its team members.

Investors in People is the international standard for people management, defining what it takes to lead, support and manage people effectively to achieve sustainable results. Underpinning the standard is the Investors in People framework, reflecting the latest workplace trends, essential skills and effective structures required to outperform in any industry. Working with clients across the globe, Investors in People enables organizations to benchmark against the best in the business on an international scale.

“At Colorite, we view our team members as our most important asset. That’s why our organization is driven to support improvement, create leaders and recognize progress. The positive work environment we have created as a team will help our growth going forward,” said Ian Kenny, global managing director. “We are honored to have received this accreditation.”

Three Colorite manufacturing facilities (Belfast, Northern Ireland; Sparks, Nevada; and Ridgefield, New Jersey) were evaluated to determine whether accreditation benchmarks had been met. The company had previously been given a bronze accreditation signifying that a program had been developed. The silver accreditation is given for meeting established program criteria.

Paul Devoy, head of Investors in People, said, “We’d like to congratulate Colorite. Investors in People accreditation is the sign of a great employer, and an organization committed to achieving success by realizing the potential of their people. Colorite should be extremely proud of their achievement.”
