TekniPlex acquires Johnson Plastic Group and expands its presence in the medical device sector

Wayne, Pa . (October 7, 2021) – TekniPlex Healthcare has acquired Johnson Plastic Group (JPG), a manufacturer of high-precision extrusions, as part of a strategy to expand its platform of patient care solutions.

Headquartered in Mexicali, Mexico, Johnson Plastic Group specializes in high-precision extrusions for medical device applications. The company offers complete extrusion solutions for a wide variety of medical devices used in therapeutic and interventional procedures.

The acquisition increases TekniPlex Healthcare's capabilities in the medical device sector and expands the division's global footprint with this new presence in Mexico.
