Solidarity Food Drive Winter 2021 – accepting donations now!

TekniGives’ annual “Solidarity Food Drive” was launched in 2020 and we are happy to continue this initiative again in 2021. Now, more than ever, it is important to give back to our local communities; a small gesture can make a big difference to someone in need. We are proud of our worldwide employees who help fight hunger and homelessness.

Special thanks to participating plants including Ada, Ashland, Belfast, Bogota, Erembodegem, City of Industry, Clinton, Holland, Italy, Laval, Madison, Modena, Milwaukee, Schaumburg, Wayne and Wenatchee.

Summer 2021

Antonino Palaia Memorial Scholarship

J’s Run for Pancreatic Cancer

Wayne, PA: Tekni was the Top Fundraising Team in 2021, raising $4,024 to combat pancreatic cancer. Steve and Debbie Schweitzer pictured.

Solidarity Blood Drive Winter 2021 – Now Closed

The inaugural 2021 TekniGives Solidarity Blood Drive collected 141 donations and raised $2,275. Special thanks to Ahmedabad, Bloomfield, Greater Noida, Madison, Wayne and Winston-Salem for participating!

Solidarity Food Drive Fall 2020 – Now Closed

The first annual TekniGives Solidarity Food Drive raised over $6K and collected an estimated 4,500 pounds of food. Special thanks to participating plants including Ashland, Belfast, Blauvelt, City of Industry, Clinton, Holland, Madison, Milwaukee, Sparks, Wayne and Wenatchee.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

Dolco employees and their families participated in the American Cancer Society walk in Downtown Rochester, New York, helping to raise funds for the battle against breast cancer.

Every child deserves a little Christmas

Each year, we try to do a community service project around Christmas time. This year, Tim Cook, Process Engineer; suggested we team up with the U. S. Marine Corps and their Toys for Tots program. With 2 weeks until the pickup deadline, we reached out to our employees and challenged them to fill a gaylord full of toys. And they did! A U. S. Marine Corps reservist picked the toys up this morning and will deliver them to the distribution site that services our county. We have an awesome group of employees with such giving hearts. Every Child Deserves a Little Christmas!!

Dolco Decatur Santa Team

During the “hustle and bustle” of the holiday season The Dolco ‘Santa Team’ was able to pull it off again this year. Dolco Packaging in Decatur, IN partnered with ACCF for the third year in a row, to provide gifts for families in need this holiday season. The gifts purchased will provide a Christmas miracle.
