Bio-based PVC compounds
ISCC Plus certified bio-based medical-grade PVC compounds that utilize resins and plasticizers manufactured with a renewable energy and bio-attributed classification. TekniPlex Healthcare is the first to launch ISCC Plus certified bio-based PVC compounds that are equivalent to traditional medical-grade PVC compounds.
Flexchem® series
Ultra high-performance vinyl compounds developed as an alternative to silicone for various applications. Manufactured with a non-phthalate plasticizer system, these extrudable or injection moldable compounds range from 35 to 65 shore A hardness and are designed to meet some of the most demanding medical device requirements.
Elastichem® series
High performance, translucent/self-frosting, flexible compounds with improved physical properties compared to standard extrusions grades of equal durometers. Our Elastichem® series compounds have increased durability, excellent resilience, good compression set, and a soft, textured feel. They are available in 35 to 85 shore A hardness.
Rigids series
Unplasticized PVC formulations offer excellent solvent bonding, low creep and environmental stress cracking resistance and exhibit good heat stability and high flow characteristics for ease of processing. Formulations can be designed to withstand discoloration associated with radiation sterilization.
Anti-microbial compounds
Medical-grade compounds formulated with silver ion technology for patient-contact products. Available in both flexible and rigid vinyl compound formulations.
