October 29, 2009 - TekniPlex Europe, NV, a global, diversified manufacturer of packaging products and materials for the healthcare, consumer and food packaging industries, recently acquired Top-Seals Dichtungseinlagen GmbH, located in Gronau (Leine) Germany. The well-known company, which will now operate under the name of Top-Seals GmbH, manufactures liners, cap seals and gaskets for the closure industry. It has been in operation for 20 years and has established a solid reputation for providing precision crafted products and outstanding customer service.
Top-Seals GmbH’s products and capabilities will enhance TekniPlex Europe NV’s Tri-Seal® gasket and liner business. Belgium-based TekniPlex Europe, NV is a division of TekniPlex Inc., USA and is a supplier to the packaging, pharmaceutical and medical device markets. Its brand names include Tri-Seal, Action Technology, Natvar®, Tekni-Films and Colorite®. The TekniPlex European Business Unit has companies in Belgium, Italy and Belfast.
