Sustainability needs to be practical. It needs to reduce our environmental impact while also extending the life of fresh food, or helping healthcare companies address patient safety. Only when sustainable solutions meet the demands of both the Earth and the marketplace can they become a real growth engine. This is what we call 'Sustainability And.' TekniPlex delivers freight savings equal to 71 ACRES of forest in 2020
TekniPlex minimizes freight and energy consumption through strategically placed stock, fewer rushed and partial shipments, and continuous improvement efforts.
In one year, TekniPlex is able to save 93,000 CUBIC YARDS of landfill space
For each ton of recycled material used to make our pulp products, we save three cubic yards of landfill space – the equivalent of a 25-story building.
TekniPlex saves nearly 217 million gallons of water each year
We use 7,000 gallons less water for each ton of recycled material we process instead of virgin pulp.
TekniPlex saves enough energy to heat and power 15,000 homes per year
We save about 4,100 kilowatt hours of energy for every ton of recycled paper we process instead of virgin pulp.

Multi-layer tube for glucose infusion system
Multi-layer tubing for insulin infusion reduces preservative absorption, allowing for fewer infusion set changeovers. This ultimately reduces the number of tubing sets used annually and wastes less unused insulin.
Coated 2FS Dupont™ Tyvek®
Process improvements for an 80% reduction in commercial production downtime, reducing cost. Improved package seal improves durability in high heat and humidity, and during gas purge washes during EO sterilization.

ProTecFlow® PCR Polypropylene Dip Tube
Made from up to 100% PCR polypropylene resin, these tubes have the same performance characteristics as those made from conventional resins, with less environmental impact.
Polypropylene Coffee Pods
New Polypropylene based eco-design, recyclable and lighter weight, reducing environmental footprint. (local recycling programs vary by municipality).
K-Pack 8 Molded Fiber
Produced from recycled materials such as post-consumer newspaper and cardboard, and widely recyclable. Molded fiber solutions are a conscientious alternative that combines product protection and sustainability.
