Waste

Across our global sites, we use recycling solutions tailored to local operations. For example, fiber-based scrap and certain shipping materials are recovered and recycled into our molded fiber processes, while manufacturing scrap is recycled back into production streams where possible. These closed-loop practices help reduce raw material demand and minimize waste sent to disposal.

Waste reduction is actively embedded within site-level operations – from process improvements to employee-led initiatives that find new uses for manufacturing byproducts.

A chart comparing TekniPlex's non-hazardous waste in metric tons between fiscal-year 2024 and fiscal-year 2025. It shows 26,476.1 metric tons for FY24 and 28,599.3 metric tons for FY25

Governance

Strong governance supports ethical decision-making, regulatory compliance, and effective risk management across our global operations.

Sustainability Governance & Oversight

ESG is embedded within our Global Innovation organization, reflecting its connection to product stewardship, regulatory compliance, and materials science. It is led at the Director level, reporting through the Global Head of Product Stewardship and Sustainability, with regular review by senior leadership. Cross-functional collaboration across operations, EHS, finance, legal, HR, and commercial teams ensures ESG is integrated into business decisions and risk management.

Ethics & Anti-Corruption

Our Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, supported by global policies, applies to all employees and is reinforced through training and communications. Governance and compliance oversight are embedded within legal and leadership structures, with as-needed review of policies and controls to address evolving risks and regulatory requirements.

Supply Chain Management

Our Supplier Code of Conduct outlines expectations for labor practices, workplace safety, and human rights, including prohibitions on child and forced labor. We conduct due diligence to assess supplier compliance and maintain processes to address concerns.

Cybersecurity

We manage cybersecurity risk through a centralized model aligned with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, supported by a 24/7 Security Operations Center. Key measures include multi-factor authentication, network security controls, endpoint protection, and employee training such as phishing simulations.
